PRIVACY POLICY · UPDATED 12 SEPTEMBER 2026
A little clarity
about your privacy.
This website
This is a static website. We don’t add analytics, advertising trackers, cookies or an email signup form. Its fonts, images and sounds are served with the site. A sound plays only when you tap the mascot. The sample calendar contains fictional plans; checking a sample task doesn’t save or send it anywhere.
The service hosting the site may process connection information, such as your IP address, when it serves a page. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, covered by GitHub’s privacy statement. Following an external download or source link takes you to that service.
The native Weekaboo apps
They connect directly to the calendar accounts you choose. Google and Microsoft sign-in use their authorization services; iCloud uses an Apple app-specific password. Calendar requests go to the relevant provider.
There is no Weekaboo server receiving or storing your calendar data, and no Weekaboo account is required. Calendar data is cached in a local database on your device. Native credentials use protected storage. Your tasks and preferences stay local, and task export/import lets you move a copy yourself. Connecting the same calendar account on two devices does not synchronize Weekaboo tasks.
Your calendar providers store the events you sync with them. Their sign-in services and software can also process connection information and authentication diagnostics. Those services follow the privacy policies of Google, Microsoft and Apple. Opening a meeting or map link takes you to that service.
Google user data
Weekaboo uses your Google account identity to label the connection, lists your calendars, and reads or changes events when you use the calendar features. Event information can include descriptions, locations, attendees and meeting links. Access is used to provide these features. Weekaboo does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Weekaboo’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can choose which calendars appear, disconnect an account in Weekaboo, and revoke access through your provider. Exported task files contain your task information, so keep them somewhere you trust.
