TERMS OF SERVICE · UPDATED 12 SEPTEMBER 2026
A few things
to know.
Weekaboo is a free, open-source calendar and task application maintained by Kelly Gold. These terms explain the software license, connected services and what you can expect when using the app and this website.
Free and open source
Weekaboo’s original source code is available under the MIT License. That license governs your rights to use, copy, modify and redistribute the code, including its notice requirements. Dependencies and other assets retain their own licenses; see the credits and the notices included with the software. These terms do not take away permissions granted by those licenses.
Your connected accounts
Connect only accounts you are authorized to use. Google, Microsoft and Apple provide their own account and calendar services, governed by their own terms and policies. Their availability, permissions and features can change. Weekaboo is an independent project and is not endorsed by those providers.
Changes you make to connected calendar events can update the provider’s calendar and affect shared events or attendees. Review the account, calendar and event details before saving a change.
Your device and your data
No Weekaboo account or hosted calendar service is required by the native apps. Keep your device secure and retain backups of information you need. Weekaboo tasks are local to each device; connecting the same calendar accounts on another device does not synchronize those tasks. Export and import can move a copy.
Our privacy policy explains local storage, provider connections, website hosting and support messages.
Availability and support
The software is supplied under the warranty and liability provisions of its applicable licenses. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a particular support response time or continuing compatibility with every provider and device. Nothing here excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Contact and changes
For questions, email hello@weekaboo.app. Please keep passwords and private calendar information out of support messages. Updates to these terms will appear on this page with a revised date; they do not revoke rights already granted under the software’s licenses.
